Mark each station as unchanged, recipe adjusted, manually adjusted, repositioned, or physically replaced.
Follow the process in machine direction. Core-forming drums or inserts may affect absorbent dimensions. Guides and applicators may move when material widths change. Elastic and cuff positions may need indexed adjustment. Tape length or placement can change. Cut-off phase, final folding, product turning, counting, and stacking can require separate settings. Check the most difficult planned transition, not only two adjacent middle sizes. List normal tools and torque requirements. Mark adjustment points and final positions with scales, stops, gauges, or documented measurements where possible. Each approved size should have a controlled recipe name and revision. Define who can create, edit, approve, back up, and restore recipes. Before loading, operators should confirm product code, tooling state, material widths, and packaging format. A recipe should not be selected merely because its name resembles the planned product.
